lyrics

A silver crescent rides the pale face
With eyes fixed on a great mass of birds
I find the sounds of breath caught in my throat
Immense shifting mists of words

White as milk in the sky
The waning moon’s radiance
Rushing wings through brilliance fly
Sunbeams over feathers dance

Lady of nightmares, your mark upon my brow
Strikes the darkness in me down
Stations of grace stretching out the sky
Where the music comes unwound

The flight takes hold, my throat upheld to your hoof
Crescent letters melt as I burn
Casting light upon the sky-written birds
A story of endless return
